Lexie and Jon’s wedding was one that was near and dear to my heart. Lexie and I grew up across the street from one another and I was there when she met Jon, I photographed their proposal and, naturally, I wanted to photograph their wedding. I thought going into the day I’d be super relaxed since Lexie and I are so close, but it was the contrary. Like every other creative our there, I’m my own worst critic and was pressuring myself to make these photos be more than great because I wanted them to reflect how much I love her. You see, I’ve always considered Lexie to be a sister. She is without a doubt one of the most genuine, kindhearted human beings I know; her heart is huge and she bends over backwards for everyone without expecting anything in return. Jon is the same. He’s kind, he’s funny and he loves Lexie so much that it hurts. Together they’re like a puzzle piece; different but the same, created to fit together as only they were supposed to and nobody else. To photograph this day was a huge honor and it meant the world to me to be able to take part in their wedding, which took place on one of the most beautiful Summer days of 2017 at South Farms, one of Connecticut’s most beautiful wedding venues. Congrats to the happy couple, I love you more than words can convey. Scroll to the bottom to see a list of the vendors that made this beautiful day possible.
