I’ve known Hope for a long time (since high school) and she has always been a free spirit, so it was no surprise to find out that she found a life partner who is equally as free thinking as she is. Together, Nate and Hope are an adventure seeking couple with a love of the outdoors and one another. Avid rock climbers, during the Winter they live in their van and explore the West coast, conquering mountains and rock faces as a team. When Hope and Nate decided to get married on top of a mountain, their family and closest friends camped with them the night before and then trekked up Mount Cathedral together and watched as Nate and Hope pledged their lives to one another on top of a mountain they’d rock climbed together, with the wild New Hampshire skyline as their backdrop. The day was intimate and perfect, made even sweeter with the personal touches that were present throughout their wedding day. Hope’s sister Justine happens to be an amazing florist (and a good friend of mine), so together Hope and Justine foraged for flowers and Justine made boutonnières for the boys, and a wildflower bouquet and a flower crown for her sister that was wild and free and just like her. Nate’s mom knitted socks that both Nate and Hope wore and Nate’s father officiated the ceremony. All in all, it was amazing to witness not only Hope and Nate’s love for one another, but the love they have for their families and the way they came together to sweetly celebrate them. Their wedding weekend was perfect and ended in the best way possible – with the bride and groom rock climbing in their wedding attire.
